I'm Supporting KMOS PBS!

Hey! My name is Jenn Langdon, and I have been a hard-core PBS fan since I was child. The shows I watched didn't just entertain me, they helped me learn more about the world around me and fostered my curiosity.  KMOS in particular has always held a special place in my heart.

My dad has volunteered by hosting pledge drives at KMOS for over 25 years, and it is so awesome not only watching him on TV but also tagging along and being on TV with him a few times.

Also, PBS Passport is the greatest streaming platform ever. There is no other place where you can binge every episode of Antiques Roadshow and millions of hours of other high-quality content.

KMOS is much more than a TV station; it is a vital resource for Mid Missouri. It may broadcast from Warrensburg, but it reaches homes in Columbia, Warsaw, Marshall, Sedalia, and beyond. From providing award-winning children’s programming that supports early learning, to showcasing hard-to-find content like British Comedies, KMOS ensures people of all backgrounds have access to quality content. With in-house produced shows like Create and Missouri 200, KMOS highlights and amplifies local stories that reflect the heart & soul of Mid-Missouri. KMOS also partners with schools, libraries, and community organizations to deliver learning tools and outreach that simply wouldn’t exist without it.

This year has brought significant financial challenges to PBS stations nationwide, including KMOS, making community support more important than ever. That’s why I’m asking you to join me in giving back to the station that has given so much to our community.
