For more than 30 years, the Coalition Against Rape and Domestic Violence (CARDV) of Callaway County has been standing beside survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault—helping individuals and families find safety, regain their voice, and begin rebuilding their lives.

When someone reaches out to CARDV, they don't have to face it alone.

CARDV provides free, confidential, trauma-informed services 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. Our advocates meet survivors where they are and help them determine what comes next—without judgment and without telling them what they should do.

Our services include:

• 24-hour crisis intervention and support
• Safety planning for survivors and their children
• Domestic violence and sexual assault advocacy
• Emergency room advocacy and accompaniment
• Civil and criminal justice advocacy
• Assistance with orders of protection
• Professional counseling and therapy
• Support groups
• Emergency temporary shelter through off-site accommodations
• Transportation related to victimization
• Information, referrals, and connections to community resources
• Victim outreach and ongoing case management
• Community education and prevention programs
• Specialized support for sexual assault survivors
• Services and accessibility support for Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing survivors

These services can be the difference between someone remaining trapped in an unsafe situation and having the support, resources, and confidence to move toward safety and independence.
